New Music: Leona Lewis – Brave & Perfect Strangers

Wow, more new Leona Lewis music has leaked. 4 songs in 2 days is a bit much lol, I’m pretty sure that Ms. Lewis and her people aren’t too happy with this.

It seems like Leona and her management are really going for this soft-rock/pop sound which has gotten Coldplay millions upon millions of albums sold. The first song which is above, is Brave. Its another soft-rock/pop ballad in which Leona delivers beautiful vocals, but IMO the song is just ok. Brave isn’t amazing but its not bad, I’m ok with her changing her style of music, but if she is gonna change it she has make amazing music.

The second song leaked today was Perfect Strangers. Perfect Strangers is a more upbeat song and is a little closer to the style I’m used to hearing from Leona. The song is cool, but I do like Brave a little more simply because of the vocals she delivers on that song. I must say that none of the leaks ive heard so far are as good as any of the singles from debut album “Spirit” which was a global success. Even though I’m not 100% feeling the music, I cant lie and say that I’m not excited for her next album, which is slated to drop in November. This album will kind of define her career because, her last album was so big selling just over 6 million worldwide, debuting @ #1 in the U.S. and going platinum & also it was huge in Europe where she has multiple #1 singles and the album it self was #1 on almost all the charts. Also Leona is slated to be going a huge world-wide tour in 2010 so a hit album is needed to sell tickets and create excitement for the tour.
